Queenstown Wedding Photographer
Hi, I’, Binh
It is an absolute pleasure to meet you and welcome you to my little corner on the web. It is such an honour to have the chance to share with you my passion for wedding photography and videography, not to mention the majestic Queenstown and its stunning landscapes.
After receiving a Phd in food engineering, I stumbled across my first paid wedding which lasted 2 days of EIPC celebration. It was only afterwards when I had the chance to look and edit the images that I realised just how much I enjoyed being a wedding photographer. Over 10 years later, I am still loving every wedding and celebration that I get invited to. Each love journey intrigues me. The beautiful and intimate connection between two people inspires me. The thrive to create and capture something new and exciting for my clients keeps my wedding photography passion alive.
Being a Queenstown wedding photographer is a pretty neat job to have. Not only do I have the chance to have fun with my clients, get excited with each wedding celebration, but also the opportunity to immerse myself in the stunning mountain and rugged landscape of Central Otago, from Queenstown to Wanaka, Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook.
My style and philosophy as a Queenstown wedding and elopement photographer
Happy people make the best photos
I am a true believer that my main job as a wedding photographer is to make sure my wonderful clients have the best of time that is filled with laughter and happiness. The wedding photography will take care of itself.
Happy people really do make the best photos.
I am there to guide you through the time, be the calmness in the storm, a third-wheel bridesmaid to fluff your dress, to bring out my loud voices during the group photos. But most importantly, I am there to laugh, to dance, to sing, to hug, to joke, and to be a part of your day. This allows me to immerse myself in the unique ambient and atmosphere that make your wedding day so special. And it is this approach that allows me to capture the images to evoke how you feel, and not just what happened.
I will definitely guide you into locations and secret spots so we can get the best of images. At the same time, I want you to be you. No awkward poses or pretends. I want to capture you, your smile, your laugh, the way you feel for each others. Simply you.
I want to be both an intricate part of your day, as well as the invisible friend that floats around without getting in your way. If you happen to rofget that I am your photographer on the day, I think I would have done my job.
I love elopements
Elopement is the ultimate love adventure. The whole day and experience is just about you and your best friend. It can be as simple as signing a piece of paper, or as elaborate as a multi-day photoshoot across the Central Otago rugged landscape, from lakeside to mountain top. The possibilities are endless.
I love the relaxing nature of elopements. Without the strict time constraints of a typical wedding day, we get to have lots of fun exploring the beautiful sceneries while enjoying a chat or two over a glass of wine or beer.

Life is simply too short not to be happy. I thrive to live everyday like it is the last, and making sure I am surrounded by love and happiness. Everything else is just a bonus.
Thus, spending time with my family brings more joy than words can describe. Seeing the innocence in the kids as they navigate through life is a grand adventure every day. I love their fearlessness, an absolute desire to give everything a go, and the sheer determination to tackle life with a smile on their face. I am inspired by my children quite often.
Sport and music are the other two key foundations in our lives. They teach us so many valuable life lessons. More important, they grant us amazing friendships and connections that can span across the world. Scientifically, they do help to release a lot of endorphine and a key to a relaxing and healthy lifestyle.
Creatively, my inspirations come from the beautiful nature that surrounds us everyday. From the dancing shadows of the light peaking through the leaves, to the birds song that float above our ears. The texture, the colour, the shape, and the emotion.
