Fine Art and Erotic Nudes

Testimonials

Why did you decide to participate?

It was a bit of a dare between me and my girlfriends, but also something different and exciting. And something we can talk about when we’re old and wrinkly! I suppose we fancied ourselves being like Rose from the Titanic 😉

How did you feel afterwards and seeing the photos?

It was great! All nervousness disappeared because Binh was so lovely and professional, and I had lots of fun doing something I never really imagined myself doing before! Seeing the photos afterwards was amazing because they were so beautiful and artistic, and I felt special and honoured to have been a part of it 🙂

Would you recommend the experience to others?

Yes! Go for it- its fun, exciting, beautiful and arty, and you get to work with a real pro.

Why did you decide to participate in the project and pose nude?

I heard about the “naked truth” a year prior to contacting Binh, and in that time had thought about it occasionally and wished I’d gotten in touch. Then the opportunity came up again and I didn’t really think twice about it. I really appreciate nude art and have done some drawing in the past and so knowing that this time the photo is of MY body was a great feeling. Being naked in front of a camera is something that is very different and does takes guts, so having taken the step makes me feel like I achieved something very special!

How did you feel after the shoot and seeing the images?

I found the photo shoot comfortable and fun. Seeing the photos along the way meant I could understand how the way I stood and moved translated to the camera screen, and encouraged me to try different poses and try to further the expressiveness of my body. It was great seeing the photos afterward, many of them I really like and I was also relieved and happy that some of them were very good!

Why did you decide to participate in the project and pose nude?

I really appreciate the philosophy behind the naked truth project; capturing the human figure in an unaltered form. Without veiling the body behind layers it’s easier to glimpse deep into someone as there is less in the way to hide behind. Binh has a talent of capturing emotion in a person you did not even know you were hiding. His photos are beautiful and as a normal plain girl like myself I wanted to look stunning and artistic and I knew Binh could find that in anyone, including me. I was weary of having naked photos of myself in case they were misused in a public media however Binh really does put you in control. Binh is easy to talk to and has your best interests in heart so he has contracts to keep you safer then you even need to be! Picture perfect photography is always welcoming, comfortable and I like how at ease it all is. I wanted to be part of this project as I feel it’s on to a good thing and I am honoured to be a part.

How did you feel after the shoot and seeing the images?

Surprised! They are so much better than I had imagined in my head. I can see its me so clearly but I am shocked I can look so good! It was empowering, I had a sense of pride and triumph.

I had a lot on in my life at the time of my shoot and I could not articulate the emotions I was feeling as it all felt too much. Yet in just one of any of my photos I could see exactly what I could not find the words to say. Each picture said its thousand words straight to heart giving me a sense of peace as I had battled with trying to box the disarray I had been feeling. Yet, here in a simple photo was me in a true raw way expressing me so completely I didn’t need to wrestle to do so anymore.

Getting naked was not hard part; exposing my emotions so deep for all to see make me blush more!

Would you recommend the experience to others?

Yes I would recommend it to EVERYONE because anyone is beautiful. Whether you’re a grandma or a bloke, the environment is comfortable and a fond memory is made, captured in photos for you to cherish.

Why did you decide to participate in the project and pose nude?

I’ve always been really self conscious about my body and I wanted to feel better about myself.. My husband thinks I’m beautiful but I just couldn’t see it, I never like getting changed in front of anyone including him. So I thought if I could do a naked photo shoot I could do anything.

How did you feel after the shoot and seeing the images?

I loved them, I can’t believe that they look so great, I’m not as bad as I imagined. The images are more like art than photos. I’m proud of myself. Thanks Binh and Lin

Would you recommend the experience to others?

I would highly recommend this to all women who don’t think too highly of themselves, we are so hard on ourselves, no need to touch up photos we are all beautiful stretchmarks, extra weight and all. Do it ladies it’s liberating!!!

Why did you decide to participate in the project and pose nude?

Why not? What a great opportunity, I thought, these things only come around one in a life time and thought it would be liberating! Also I thought, one day I will look back and say, ‘I did that and hey, my wobbly bits were not soooo bad!’

How did you feel after the shoot and seeing the images?

Nervous of course and self conscious initially, however Binh made it an easy process, and all you have to do is follow his instructions to get some great photos. It helped that I was shown some of the pictures as they were being taken and by the end of the session I felt very comfortable and proud of myself for having taken part.

Would you recommend the experience to others?

Absolutely! What a great project, people understanding and appreciating that naked photography can be art work!

Why did you decide to participate in the project and pose nude?

I decided to participate as I love seeing photography as an art form. Your black and white nudes are artistic and sculptural. You capture expressions and poses that can be very powerful images. You play with various shots to compose thought provoking, powerful, or serene and beautiful images.

As I am 49 I thought NO WAY re glam shots. The idea of providing some anonymous poses that you can use for images appealed. What would I look like in black and white photographed by an artist ???

How did you feel after the shoot and seeing the images?

After the session I felt liberated and empowered,We all come in different shapes and sizes, It was a huge step out of the comfort zone! And also without make up or my hair done!. I felt more comfortable in my own skin. The photos were far more sculptural than I ever imagined.

Would you recommend the experience to others?

I would definitely recommend it to others,. It was not comfortable to strip off in full light in the studio…Your easy manner and clear instruction was calming. As the session progressed it became easier to relax. Although I felt exposed you assured me the lighting would cast subtle shadows . You are a master of using light and shadow.. I would feel comfortable to pose again if you had ideas in mind for outdoor shots in forest or trees playing with natural light.

Why did you decide to participate?

I’d looked through the website gallery of every photographer advertising in Wellington and Auckland, but when I finally broadened my search to include the rest of New Zealand, I found Binh Trinh. Anyone who goes through this exercise can see immediately that Picture Perfect Photography is streets ahead of the rest. When I met Binh in person, I was not disappointed. His procedures, equipment, and studio are top notch, while his relaxed manner, his patience and his professionalism made my role so easy.

How did you feel afterwards…

Privileged to have spent this time with the artist at work. Excited about the quality of the images that Binh had shown me during the shoot. Tired from the concentration needed to slip into the role of ‘model’. Proud that I had achieved something I set out to do. Jubilant that it had all worked out so brilliantly!

and seeing the photos? My eye’s appreciation for art is fascinated with these images. My inner-self is amazed and flattered that the subject is ME. Originally I had thought I would keep the photos hidden away, just peeping at them now and then. But now that I’ve seen them, I realise they need to be displayed as the beautiful art-pieces that they are. Thank you, Binh.

Would you recommend the experience to others?

One day, when we look back on our lives, some experiences from our past will make us smile to ourselves: this is certainly one of those experiences. And hey, if we’re starting to lose our memory by then, we’ll have these incredible photos to remind us!
